Job Description
We're looking for a CRM Consultant/Project Manager to drive enterprise Microsoft CRM implementations, including all project phases such as discovery, definition, build, test and deploy. After our sales team wins a project, you'll become the main contact person for the customer to manage their project to make sure its delivered on-time and on-budget. You'll work with the customer to define their requirements and then you'll lead the system requirements gathering process. Once that's complete, you'll work with our internal software development team to build out customizations for the customer, and you'll perform many of the software configurations yourself. You won't need to program any custom code or configure the customer's network, but you'll need to understand how those related technologies work. This position is exempt.
Essential Duties:
-Conduct discovery meetings with customers and prospects to understand their sales, marketing and customer service requirements
-Work with developers to define and create specifications for any custom code or data migration requirements
-Configure/customize Microsoft CRM using web-based administration tools (form layout, workflow design, view creation, etc.)
-Test that our customizations meet the customer's requirements
-Create and manage project timelines to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
-Train end-users
-Create knowledge transfer documentation
-Other assignments/projects as directed by management
Requirements:
-Bachelors Degree in Business Systems or related field
-Minimum of two years of experience in project management, system design, or information systems
-Experience implementing CRM applications preferred (Microsoft CRM, Salesforce, Saleslogix, Onyx, etc.)
-Familiar with relational database concepts
-Self-starter and be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities
-Must have excellent communication, leadership and client development skills
-Microsoft CRM certifications a plus, but not required
Full-time position. Up to 15% out-of-town travel required for this job.
