The Senior Manager, Systems and Process delivers business process improvements and technology solutions to scale the Education Services business. The role will work across business units, involving teams, systems and processes in Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Finance Operations and Training delivery. The role is also responsible for roadmap planning for systems and process improvement initiatives in the Education Services organization.

The ideal candidate will have solid project management, analytical and process development skills and apply those to building out the operations function. Reporting to the Director, Systems & Process Marketing Operations, the position will lead worldwide Education Services operations initiatives for salesforce.com and work closely with executive management to meet business unit objectives.

As product owner, project manager, and/or business owner, you must possess excellent communication skills, leadership and judgment. You will define project scope, objectives and requirements and own the project plan, schedule, budget, resource management, issues and risks. This role will involve managing multiple concurrent projects with moderate to high levels of business or technical complexity and risk. You will be accountable for ensuring that project commitments and deliverables are met. To ensure the smooth delivery of deliverables, you will interact daily with cross-functional business teams and process owners, IT project management, and support teams. The ability to multi-task across multiple concurrent projects is required. Work will be reviewed and measured based on attainment of objectives and the overall success of your projects.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Acting as point person for operations related to salesforce.com’s Education Services organization including Marketing, Sales, Training delivery and Finance.
Project planning, scheduling, and managing multiple concurrent projects.
Managing the delivery of complex projects working across one or more business functions.
Managing project delivery/communications to meet business expectations and ensure client satisfaction, delivery on schedule and budget.
Work closely with executive sponsors, business owners, development teams, quality assurance, and other teams to define comprehensive project plans.

Required Skills/Experience:
Skilled in business process analysis, requirements gathering, process/solution design, and project management
Prior experience as Project Manager or Business Owner for large scale information systems projects
Experience working with CRM systems (salesforce.com, Siebel, SAP, Oracle), Oracle Financials and/or other ERP experience
Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
Excellent presentation, writing and receptive listening skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a concise and objective manner
Team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams
Ability to work with deadlines and in a fast paced environment
Has demonstrated clear leadership skills and experience working with large, complex projects
Prior experience hiring and managing staff
Bachelors Degree, with 6-10 years project management and/or operations experience

Desired Skills:
Professional project management credentials (such as PMI) a plus
Advanced negotiation and presentation skills
Experience developing, delivering and managing internal training for process or systems projects
Knowledge of on-demand web applications
